FYDO Hospital Update – 27/08/2026

New User Group Permissions

FYDO has now introduced three new permissions in Settings > User Groups, allowing you to control access by setting each permission to Deny, Read, or Read/Write.

The three new permissions are:

• Webhooks
• Accommodation Category
• API

These permissions are defaulted to Deny and will need to be manually updated where required. Only users with the appropriate permissions to manage User Groups will be able to make these changes.

New Bed Tracker Tokens

FYDO has introduced three new tokens related to the Bed Tracker Screen:

• Day View Date
• Week View Date
• Year View Date

These new tokens allow users to print the date currently displayed in the Bed Tracker Screen, providing a more precise date reference when printing the handover report. The new tokens have also been added to the Tokens Wiki under Tokens – Hospital > Inpatient Details.

SMS Template Improvement

FYDO has now introduced an improvement to SMS formatting, allowing line breaks and spacing included within SMS templates to be retained when the message is received by the patient.

This new functionality ensures that SMS messages are displayed in the same clear and easy-to-read format as they appear within FYDO, making longer messages and important patient instructions easier to understand.
